Jenette Ramos

Jenette Ramos was appointed to the Washington State University Board of Regents in October 2020.

Regent Ramos is an accomplished corporate officer, senior executive, and board member. She has extensive operational experience in manufacturing, end-to-end supply chain, infrastructure, and sustainability teams. Regent Ramos has led multiple complex component factories and enterprise-wide corporate functions for commercial jetliners, defense, space, security systems, and services in the aerospace industry. She retired from The Boeing Company after 35 years of global leadership.

Regent Ramos is currently serving on public, private, and international Boards of Directors. She has held various board governance roles including human capital and compensation committee; finance and audit committee; information technology and cybersecurity; and lead/chair. Regent Ramos is also a current faculty member for senior leadership development at World50 and is a volunteer/mentor for community initiatives. 

For Washington State University, Regent Ramos has served on the Academic and Student Affairs Committee, the Executive Committee, the Finance and Administration Committee, the Strategic and Operational Excellence Committee, the Athletics Budget Oversight Committee, the Foundation Investment Committee, and led the Presidential Search Advisory Committee for the 12th President of WSU.  

Long dedicated to workplace safety, the International Association of Machinists-Boeing Joint Programs Health and Safety Institute recognized Regent Ramos with an unprecedented Ambassador Award. She has been recognized by industry making the list of top 20 Women in Aerospace and Defense in 2020 by the Society of Manufacturing Engineering-Smart Manufacturing; the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineering Asian American Executive of the Year; and the Women of Color National Achievement Award, and has been recognized with a Most Influential Filipina in the World Innovative and Thought Leader Award.

Regent Ramos completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, earned a Master’s degree in Business from Seattle Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University.
