Howard Wright

Howard Wright was appointed to the Washington State University Board of Regents in February 2025.

Regent Wright is an entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the transportation, tourism, and hospitality sectors. He is the founder and chairman of Seattle Hospitality Group – a company with a record of strategic investments and development of best-in-class properties and service providers.

In Seattle, Regent Wright is deeply engaged in business, arts, and education issues of the Puget Sound region. He serves on the boards of various organizations and several closely held hospitality businesses.

Regent Wright graduated from WSU in 1976, and attended Harvard Business School in 2001.
